Double Digits

My oldest is now double digits.  I am not that old.  She told me, "Mom, I am a decade old."  Kallie loves to read and play video games.  She plays the piano really well.  She loves the beach...well the waves mostly.  It is hard to keep her out of the water, even if it is really cold.  She is a great friend and big sister.

Kallie has been asking to have a friend party for many years.  We told her she was not getting one, but then surprised her last min with some friends at the park.  We had a lot of fun.

Yes, we all love doughnuts.

Getting ready to pass the candy on the spoon.

Playing headbands and eating lots of munchies.

Kallie and her Friends.

Jenna says "she's 10."

She doesn't like Edible Arrangements at all.

Invention Convention

Kallie was one of 4 students from her school chosen to take her invention to the district level.  She came up with the idea all on her own, and really learned a lot while researching her idea.  She received an honorable mention.  We are so pleased to see her learning and developing a love for knowledge.

Build A Bear

The Girls got Build a Bear gift cards from Gma and Gpa Boehme.  They were so excited to choose how to spend their money.

Fluffy getting her stuffing.

Rubbing the hearts and making wishes on them.

Fluffing, brushing, and loving their new stuffed animal.
P. S.  When did my girls get old enough to be hipsters?:)

Corbin's Birthday

Birthday loot

Corbin asked to go to Ruby's for his birthday.  The kids would always pick this if we let them.

Birthday doughnut after swimming and shower.  Love the robes that Santa got for them.

Byron's birthday

The Birthday boy and his birthday hat for a song.

Yummy home made German chocolate cake and frosting.

Christmas catch up

Christmas was a whirlwind of activity.  My whole family was together for a few days at my sister's house.  Corbin was sick a couple day's before, but felt pretty good Christmas morning.  Our present opening was split because of early church.  A Christmas miracle...we successfully got 18 people ready and out the door by 9:00 am.

Yes, those are Corbin's new pj's on Byron's head.

Corbin asked for real money on his Christmas list.

I didn't realize I married Thor.

None of the kids wanted to take a picture after church...they wanted to finish opening presents.
