Preschool for Corbin

After much deliberation, worry and change of Nanny schedule...we enrolled Corbin in preschool.  It was a co-op, which means the parents are very involved and work in the classroom.  Corbin was excited until he realized that I wasn't going to be there everyday.  It took 3 weeks of wailing and gnashing of teeth, but he finally decided that preschool was fun.

Science.

Check out the gun show!

Field trip; train ride to a petting zoo.

Oklahoma!

The girls and I were in a production of Oklahoma put on by our Stake (Church Organization).  It was a lot of work, but a lot of fun.  I think each of us grew in ways we didn't know we would.  The girls made many new friends.  I was able to get over a lot of my stage fright, and I did something I didn't know I would ever do...I was a Can-Can dancer.  (I would normally not post pictures of me.)

This is without hair and make-up.  Oh, yes there was full on wig and fancy make-up.

In front of Aunt Eller's house; part of the Ensemble.

Aren't they darling.  They did soo well!

Corbin Plays Baseball

Corbin played his first season of baseball this spring.  It was totally chaotic; with overlapping gymnastics, piano, and Oklahoma rehearsals, but Corbin loved every minute of it.

He started out the season hitting left.  He did well.

But about half way through the season, coach tried him right...he did really well.  We may have a south-paw who bats right, or maybe a switch hitter.  We'll see what his throw looks like next season.

Our team took third place in his age group.  They had a great season...Go Paw Sox!!!
